Proverbs 25:20
Like one who takes away a garment on a cold day, is one who sings songs to a heavy heart.
I was reminded of this lately by an individual who meant well but he had forgotten his journey and where he had arrived from. He began relating and speaking only from the mountaintop while people were struggling to climb out of their valley. He made the climb appear smooth but remember, if the mountains were smooth then we could not climb them.
We need our valley experience because living in a fallen world requires that we climb in order to learn how to live at both extremes.
